The title of my blog is what I been receiving via texting from many aquaintances who are die hard Senator Barack Obama supporters. Since i found out he was going to run for president there was very little I knew about the “man of change” who holds the Democratic senate seat in Illinois. When it comes down to the the U.S. presidential race I am really trying to understand Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama’s views on the economy, education, health care, and tax reform. I truthfully am not trying to make this an issue about race , but we all know it is. I have listened to both candidates and I do certainly agree with Sen. McCain by stating this country needs someone with experience who knows how to deal with certain situations. I must admit I did chuckle during one of the debates when he said to Obama “this is no time for on the job training.” I believe that those who intend on voting for Sen. MCCain want some one who has longevity in politics and they want someone who is of an age that has experience certancy in life. Now Sen Obama is young for presidency and certainly hasnot had the life experiences that Sen. McCain has, but with all the changes that have taken place in this country, i think we need someone who is going to steer this country in the right direction. Not all change is bad. I agree with most that I cannot wait for the election to be over. I am sick of all the mudslinging between candidates and wish they would stick to the concerns of the American public. Who’s going to be elected? Who ever is I hope they take their position and bring this country back on it’s feet.
